I'm having trouble getting the pink alien sample to work with a second equipment slot. I have the shield item in a second equipment slot (OFF-HAND). When I equip the shield and have a weapon equip (used the steel sword prefab) the pink alien gets stuck in the attack state. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.
steps to reproduce: 1. Scene - open alien sample scene 1-2
2. UI - In hierarchy open Alien-Prefab-UI-Complete / PauseScreen_Inventory / visibleContent / EquipmentSlots , Duplicate the EquipmentSlotWeapon GameObject and change the Equipment Slot field in the UIInventorySlot script in the inspector to OFF-HAND and move to somewhere viewable.
3. Item prefab - In project tab find the prefab Alien-Prefab-Sword. Duplicate and rename the prefab to Alien-Prefab-Shield, in the inspector change the Item ID to EQUIP/SHIELD on the item script.
4. Item Type Manager - Find ItemTypeManager GameObject in Hierarchy Select Edit Item Types button in inspector. Find EQUIP/SHIELD item and change the slot field from WEAPON to OFF-HAND.
5. Last step - Drag the Alien-Prefab-Sword and Alien-Prefab-Shield prefabs into to the scene, press play equip both items and press the attack button. The pink Alien gets stuck in the attack animation.
The video from the link you posted is corrupt. Downloaded it twice and it won't play in any of my videos players VLC, Adobe Suite, Windows media player, but I can play other .FLV files just fine.
For clarity I'm using PP2 2.2.0 with Unity 2019.4.0f1LTS and windows 10 not that it should matter.
I keep getting the same result, today i made a new project and imported PP2 2.2.0 . I made the same changes and the same thing happens. When the steel sword and shield are equip in their respective slots(WEAPONS and OFF-HAND) the pink alien gets stuck in the attack state when I press the attack button.
This video shows my steps and the result i get. This is a new project and fresh import of PP2. Hopefully you can see what I'm doing wrong.
