So, I'm trying to have my "overworld" map character sprite game object change to a boat while crossing water.
I've gotten it to change rather nicely while walking from shore to water. However, when they reach the point on the water where the scene changes, they spawn in the next scene with their original overworld sprite (not a boat).
I've placed an event responder directly on the Respawn Point... and the event responder is set to "RespawnPoint" Activating and Deactivating the respective sprite game objects... but it doesn't do anything.
Is this one of those places where my persistence settings are set incorrectly, how should I set them for this if they are?
Or, is there something else I should be doing?
A one way trigger seems like it would be too slow, giving an instance where the graphic was incorrect till the character moves through it and changes sprite objects.
