I dont quite understand how PPRO2 handles physics, when adding a rigidbody to my character 2d effectors do not work, nor does CFG.
Does anything above + your intimate knowledge of your product spark an idea for getting these to work?
You can interact with physics objects but you can't use 2D Effectors or other systems which use Unity physics to move your character (I mean technically you can by creating a movement which uses Unity physics, which is fun for things like turning your character in to a bouncing ball, but pointless for general movement as you would have to rewrite all movements/collisions/etc).
There is already a 'push' type effect (WindAffector.cs). You can also add forces through event responders. Note that what this actually does to the movement depends heavily on the movement (it will work best with the 'physics' type movements.

HOW: Prox trigger to enable flowchart with "conversation" block (see convo example), create character portraits (dialog emotion images), and custom stage with (took an hour of study to learn this) "say Dialog" and a "custom stage" command above (Execution list) the conversation.
There is a bit of loading when you activate the flowchart but ill cover that up with some fancy NPC saying Hi and particles
(if any of you indies figure a better way i will upgrade you bank account a bit )
anyhow check out all the commands fungus has and let your imagination run wild
